This is a documentary on EFT. It addresses physical and emotional trauma, energy therapy, and abundance. The class I took on tapping some years ago was very calming, effective and released old energy. It is quite addictive and very simple to do. With all the stress people seem to carry, this is a method that is easy to do anywhere throughout the day. We are energy as we all now understand.
This documentary features Jack Canfield, Joe Vitale (Mr. Fire), Bob Proctor, Carol Look and Cheryl Richardson. I hope you enjoy it and do some exploring into EFT. Please leave comments on your experiences using this technique.
I wanted to talk about what others are saying about my favorite book. I love the authenticity of the Author.
Munro Magruder, assistant publisher at New World Library, the American publisher that picked up the American rights for Tolle in 1999, says: “The last big best-seller we had was The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success by Deepak Chopra … One of those laws is to practice detachment. Eckhart truly practices detachment. “He’s never asked how many copies of his book we’ve sold, nor enquired about the marketing campaign. He couldn’t care less. He’s only interested in being a teacher, and people resonate with that. He’s the genuine article.”
I would like to quote Josh Hinds, a Syndicated Columnist and Author “Whether or not we realize it each of us has within us the ability to set some kind of example for people. Knowing this would you rather be the one known for being the one who encouraged others, or the one who inadvertently discouraged those around you?”
How do you see yourself? Do you uplift others or try to pull them down? Some people tend to discourage others because of their own experiences and fears. How could we possibly know what is right for another person when we come from our own perspective or viewpoint? Try keeping an open mind next time someone asks you for advice. The worst vice can be advice, as many people dust off their old experiences and pass it off as wisdom. This can be a positive or a negative. Many people are addicted to giving advice, make sure it is positive and uplifting. Don’t let anyone discourage you from your greatest dreams and desires. Maya Angelou says “Courage is the most important virtue because without courage you can’t practice any other virtue consistently. If you’ve seen and know the truth then you have had enough courage to change your way of thinking.” Cheers to Living in Courage.
If you do not have the courage to draw and paint, but really want to try, watch this video. Try everything you dream to do. If an elephant can draw, so can you. Listen to these quotes from National Geographic and Novica.
The elephants at the art academies in Southeast Asia are taught to hold a paintbrush with the tip of their trunks. Initially, the mahout guides the elephant’s trunk over the canvas and offers rewards for good performance.
“It only takes a few hours to a day to teach them,” said Mia Fineman, an art historian whose book When Elephants Paint is an illustrated history of the Asian Elephant Art and Conservation Project.
“But the elephant has to want to learn,” she added. “Elephants in captivity are definitely bored, but it’s a matter of disposition, an innate proclivity. Some will do it and some won’t.”
Stars of the Elephant Art Scene
Not all elephants can paint, and of those that do, some are better than others.
“Ramona in Bali is really a star among elephant artists,” said Roberto Milk, co-founder and CEO of Novica.com. “She’s been painting for a long time, and her work has sold well in earlier auctions so she’s really elevated her market level.”
There’s definitely a learning curve.
“The elephants learn quickly and clearly get better over time,” said Catherine Ryan, vice president of communications for Novica. “‘Better,’ of course is an aesthetic judgment, but you can see the paintings get more complex when you compare an elephant’s early work to later pieces.”
Randy Pausch went to Congress to use his new found unintended celebrity that he received through the lecture at Carnegie Mellon University to speak on behalf of Pancreatic cancer. Randy urged Congress to provide funding for research to eradicate this most lethal cancer.
